We are seeking an  Associate Attorney (1 – 3 years’ experience) with some background or a strong interest in land use, zoning, and municipal law to join our Municipal Practice Group in the Blue Bell office. This role offers a collaborative environment where you will work closely with experienced attorneys and clients across Montgomery, Bucks and Chester Counties in Pennsylvania.

Duties:

•          Handle or assist with legal matters related to comprehensive planning, land use, zoning, and code enforcement.
•          Attend municipal meetings, zoning hearing board hearings, and code enforcement proceedings, including evening meetings.
•          Handle day-to-day transactional matters such as contract review, ordinance and resolution drafting as well as labor and employment issues.
•          Significant direct client interaction.
•          Conduct in-depth legal research on planning, zoning, and property rights issues, interpreting statutes, judicial rulings, and regulatory codes.
•          In-depth research and drafting of briefs for land use appeals.

•          Strong writing, research and analytical skills.
•          Ability to manage multiple tasks in a high-paced environment.
•          Proficiency with legal office software, document management and billing systems.
•          Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
•          Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited school.
•          Admission to the Pennsylvania Bar.
